Toyo Printing Inks Introduced Its Innovative Solutions for the Metal Packaging Industry at the World Can Experience 2026 Event
Together with its export sales and R&D teams, Toyo Printing Inks showcased its innovative solutions for the metal packaging industry to international stakeholders at the World Can Experience event, held in Dubai between January 21st and 23rd, 2026.
As one of the leading international events in the metal packaging industry, World Can Experience served as an important platform for strengthening Toyo Printing Inks’ position in the global market. Representing Toyo Printing Inks at the event were Dr. Arzu Erdem Şimşek, New Products and R&D Manager; Lutsia Bulut, Export and Sales Specialist; and Burak Kara, Export Sales Responsible.
A Focal Point of Strong Interest
Throughout the event, Lutsia Bulut welcomed strong interest from visitors and answered participants’ questions about the company’s product portfolio, particularly its BPA-NI (Bisphenol-A Non-Intent) internal coating product groups. Bulut shared the following in her evaluation of the event:

In his presentation, Burak Kara highlighted the production infrastructure, capacity, and product range of the new factory opened in Manisa in April 2025, also addressing the artience vision. Kara commented as follows:

Internal Coating Trends from an R&D Perspective
In her presentation titled ‘Internal Coating Trends in Metal Packaging: An R&D Perspective,’ Dr. Arzu Erdem Şimşek, New Products and R&D Manager, addressed current trends in internal coatings in the metal packaging industry from an R&D viewpoint. Şimşek stated as follows:
“We see that innovative approaches are increasingly being adopted in the industry, and that the concept of a circular economy is becoming more prominent in both production and consumption processes. We see that BPA-NI internal coating solutions play a critical role at the intersection of sustainability, regulatory expectations, and market demands. Sharing up-to-date developments in the industry and the strong interest shown by visitors made this event an extremely valuable and productive experience for us.”
