2. Preparation of a "Major Accident Prevention Policy Document":

The regulation known as the Seveso directive was published in the Official Newspaper dated March 2, 2019 and numbered 30702 by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and the Ministry of Interior, taking into account the Council Directive dated 4/7/2012 and numbered 2012/18/EU.

Our organization is subject to the provisions of the "Regulation on Prevention of Major Industrial Accidents and Mitigation of their Effects". The notification specified in Article 7 of the Regulation was made using the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization notification system (BEKRA). Within the framework of BEKRA notification, our organization has been determined as a "Lower Level" organization. "Major Accident Prevention Policy Document" has been prepared by our organization in accordance with Article 10 of the Regulation.

3. Activities realized in our organization:

Design, production and sale of various colored and black printing inks, cold varnish, enamel paint, thinner.

The production area is divided into oil-based and solvent-based production depending on the content of the products. The production process is monitored by workflow on a workstation basis. Some of the workstations are planned for the production of specific product groups and some workstations are planned for the production of final products or semi-products.

Workstations are generally designed for initial mixing, grinding, formula completion and filling functions.

The organization conducts drills at least once a year to prepare for emergencies. All infrastructure preparations and teams have been prepared for the Emergency Action Plan and response. The following steps should be followed in the event of an industrial accident that may occur in our organization:In doing so, you contribute to your personal protection and effective response for all of us.  

How can I be informed?

  • Police/fire trucks,
  • Speaker announcements, sirens,
  • Radio and TV announcements.

How can I recognize danger? 

  • By visible signs (e.g. smoke, fire),
  • By smell,
  • With a loud explosion,
  • Through body reactions such as nausea,
  • Eye irritation, headache, etc.

What should I do first?

  • Stay away from the accident scene,
  • Do not visit the accident site,
  • Bring children home, do not let them play outside,
  • Help the disabled and the elderly,
  • Help passersby and, if necessary, invite them inside the building for protection,
  • Close windows and doors,
  • Turn off the air conditioning and ventilation in the house and car or close windows and doors.

Then what do I do?

  • Follow the instructions of emergency and rescue services.
  • Avoid open flames (e.g. cigarettes, lighting the stove, etc.) due to possible risk of explosion.
  • If you have been asked by television or radio to move away from the area. Get out of the house and move towards areas at high elevation, away from the accident scene.

  • Do not block fire and police emergency phone numbers with unnecessary questions.
  • Do not leave home without being asked and do not escape on foot or by car. So you will only endanger yourself.
