Starting from 2024, Toyo Ink Group will be known as the “artience group.”

The Japan-based “Toyo Ink SC Holdings” has announced that it will change its name to “artience” effective January 1, 2024.

Since 1896, Toyo Ink Group has been producing state-of-the-art products that meet the needs of every era, including pigments, resins, and dispersions. The journey of Toyo Ink Group, which began approximately 130 years ago in a small ink shop, has evolved today into a company producing specialty chemicals. In this direction, as Toyo Ink Group continues on its path as the “artience group,” it maintains its commitment to becoming a company that anticipates the rapidly changing needs of the times and markets, as it did in the past and still does today.

Toyo Ink Group is not only changing its name but also undergoing a transformation. Toyo Printing Inks, which operates in Turkey and is affiliated with the Japan-based Toyo Ink Group, aims to grow together with its business partners, gaining fields of expertise that can lead the way in light of the experiences it has gained and will gain through this transformation process.

The Meaning Behind the artience Brand

Embarking on the journey with the slogan “Empowering Feeling,” “artience” is the perfect combination of the words “art” and “science.” While “art” represents the stimulation of the senses and the masterful use of colors, “science” symbolizes technology, materials, and a rational approach to exploration.

What Does This Process Mean for Toyo Printing Inks?

With this development, the commercial name of Toyo Printing Inks will not change, but the logo, website, social media channels, product labels, and packaging will be updated to reflect the new branding principles of the artience group.

Recently, at the 2nd International Packaging Industry Congress organized by the Packaging Industrialists Association, Toyo Printing Inks announced its new brand through a video interview in which Group CEO Satoru Takashima discussed the ongoing transformation of the company. Additionally, Toyo Printing Inks CEO Yakup Benli, who was among the opening speakers of the congress, informed all attendees about the artience transformation in his speech.
